Does your family scare you? Are you afraid of messing up because you don’t want to get beaten up? I might not understand, but I know someone who does.
Was your body violated when you were little? Were you ashamed to look at yourself for weeks because you felt somehow you were to be blamed? I know someone who has gone through hell and made it back sane.
Are you in marriage that is nothing but a sham? Are you worried where your next meal is going to come from? Is your heart heavy and body broken because of that horribly thing you did in the past? Have you lost a pet, the furry half-human most humane that most of the humans, and don’t know how you are going to go on living now?
Suffering is unfair, but it needn’t be meaningless. It’s not optional, but it needn’t be in waste.

That’s coming from a person who was sexually abused by her father till she left home at the age of 18. So those aren’t some lofty ideals, she does know what she is talking about.
Everybody has skeletons in their closets… no matter how rich, no matter how how successful you are at what you do, everybody’s got that stinky section they can never clean it up enough. But your battles, can help scare aware someone else’s demons. Wouldn’t you want to reach out? Would you want someone to know they are not alone?
