Friendship is twisted,
its fate I want to know, I so wish it.

This past year has been of a crazy sort.
We fought and then laughed through the tears and again made a mess of it all.

But as I read recently —
“Sometimes you have to slow down to move on”,
we have slowed down enough to know we are (and are going to be) friends for the long haul.

We have always been there for each other,
and even when we haven’t,
I am sure we have learnt to realise that moving on is not always such a bad thing at all.
